Focused seller support

Build the operating pieces around the product.

Choose one defined problem or combine services into a scoped project. Every engagement names the output, the assumptions behind it, and what still requires your decision.

Product & supplier sourcing

Turn a product brief into a supplier shortlist, sample plan, and comparison built around quantities, lead time, quality requirements, and target economics.

Typical output

Supplier comparison and next-step checklist

Landed-cost & pricing model

Map product cost, freight assumptions, duties and VAT treatment, marketplace charges, fulfilment costs, and margin scenarios before committing to stock.

Typical output

Editable assumptions and margin scenarios

GS1 / EAN readiness

Plan valid product identifiers, variant mapping, and label-ready data. Barcode ownership and registration remain with your business.

How we work

A decision trail you can keep using.

Good seller support should leave your business more capable. The files, assumptions, supplier information, and agreed workflows are handed back to you.

No silent scope changes

If new information changes cost, timing, or feasibility, we document the impact and ask you to approve the next step.

  1. 01

    Diagnostic

We review your goals, catalogue stage, constraints, quantities, and target dates before recommending work.

  2. 02

    Written scope

You receive clear deliverables, assumptions, exclusions, responsibilities, timing, and a quote to approve.

  3. 03

    Build & review

We complete the agreed work in checkpoints so you can confirm product, cost, and catalogue decisions.

  4. 04

    Handover

You receive the working files, decision log, open risks, and practical next steps for your seller operation.

Before you spend on stock

Pressure-test the basics.

A polished listing cannot rescue weak product economics or unclear ownership. We help surface these questions early.

Who owns the brand and valid product identifiers?
What is included in the landed-cost assumption?
Which compliance documents apply to the category?
How are variants, cartons, and labels mapped?
What happens when stock, cost, or lead time changes?
Which marketplace step still needs seller approval?

Seller-services FAQ

The marketplace remains the authority on its current rules, approvals, and account decisions. We help you prepare and operate more deliberately.

Discuss your situation
Is HAP Exclusives part of Takealot?
No. HAP Exclusives is an independent service provider. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an agent of Takealot, and we cannot make decisions on Takealot’s behalf.
Can you open or approve my seller account?
No. Seller applications, verification, catalogue approvals, compliance decisions, and account status are controlled by the marketplace. We can help you organise information and prepare a cleaner workflow, but we cannot guarantee approval.
Do I need GS1 barcodes for every product?
Identifier requirements depend on the product, brand, variation structure, and current marketplace rules. We help map the correct GS1 / GTIN / EAN workflow for your catalogue. Your business remains responsible for obtaining and using valid identifiers and confirming the current Seller Portal requirements.
Will you need my Seller Portal password?
Do not send passwords through our website form. If portal access is genuinely required for an approved scope, we will agree the safest, revocable access method and the exact actions permitted. You keep ownership and control of the seller account.
Can you guarantee the Buy Box, rankings, or sales?
No. Marketplace outcomes depend on pricing, availability, service levels, competition, customer demand, policies, and platform decisions. We commit to the agreed deliverables and evidence-based recommendations—not guaranteed commercial outcomes.
Can you help with importing and delivery?
We can scope supplier coordination, samples, inspection points, packaging, landed-cost assumptions, and freight handoff. Each quote states what is included and how duties, VAT, insurance, Incoterms, and final delivery are treated. No shipment is arranged without written approval.
What should I prepare for the first conversation?
Share your product categories, approximate SKU count, supplier links or quotations if available, expected quantities, target launch date, and the main problem you want to solve. Do not send passwords, banking details, or confidential credentials.
